WHAT TO LOOK FOR when hiring an attorney
EXPERIENCED LAWYERS HELPING YOU WIN
Experience.
Look for an attorney who's handled your type of case before. They'll have a better idea of what your case is worth, and the tactics they may encounter from the defense.
Bonus tip: There are a lot of really good attorneys in the Valley, but there's also some bad ones. Just because someone advertises on TV doesn't mean you should choose them.
Established trust.
Seek out people in your life that you think are wise and good advisers for you. They could be church leaders, people at your work, or maybe even the company you work for.
Referrals.
One of the best resources for finding an attorney is talking to other attorneys. Perhaps you know someone who practices family law but doesn't handle serious injury or wrongful death; chances are they will have some sense of who to send you to.
